In the name of god, The entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful

On behalf of the Executive committee, It is my honor to introduce to you, the precedent project of Al Atoun Steel Industries, which is Al Atoun plant for steel billets and reinforcement bars

Al Atoun Steel Industries was established to contribute in the economic evolution and the development plans which was validated by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosque’s government through its decision to establish the economic cities to cover the main region of Kingdom and to benefit from the secure investment atmosphere with the unlimited support provided by the state to different sectors,

Al Atoun Steel Industries has signed contracts with renowned international consultant to supervise the project phase. The main contract of engineering, supply and installation of the Steel Plant and the Mini Mill equipments, has been signed with Siemens VAI of Germany on a turnkey basis as our strategic partner who possess the know-how and state-of-the-art technology.

Yanbu Industrial City, situated in the north west of the Kingdom was the best choice to build the plant due to its distinguished location on the Red Sea Coast and to its complete infrastructure constituents and facilities, supervised by the Royal Commission, which has allocated an area of (316,293 sq.m) in the heavy industrial plot (Yanbu2) with all infrastructural facilities befitting the investment.

Finally, we thank Allah, (swt), and ask all success for this project and to complete its future phases to be one of the main supports to our national industry. Our sincere thanks also to The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosque’s government for the support they provided continuously to the Private Sector. Our thanks is extended as well, to all sectors particularly (The Royal Commission Authority) and SIDF for their valued cooperation, and also sincere appreciation to our staff who exerted their at most efforts to make this project be a fact and take its place on our country’s steel industry map on the first half of the year 2013 by the will of Allah the great and almighty.
